                                d.  Text-Based Instruction (TBI)



                                          TBI is a teaching-learning strategy that focuses on students' ability

                                to construct texts. The genre-based approach, often known as text-based


                                instruction, tries to educate students to produce a variety of texts. TBI is

                                developed from the GBA theory and compatible with learning theories,


                                according  to  Richards  and  Rodgers  (2015).  As  previously  established,

                                GBA theory is concerned with the nature of language, in which the text
