                                text,  and  they  may  also  consult  their  teacher  about  their  first  draft.

                                Teaching-learning cycle developed by Derewianka and Jones is presented

                                in Figure 1.

                                         On the other hand,  Triastuti  et  al.  (2021, 2022)  developed the

                                teaching and learning cycle in response to the complex demand of the 2013


                                curriculum  in  the  Indonesian  context,  which  is  necessary  to  integrate

                                character value, higher-order thinking skills (HOTS), and the skills of the

                                21st century (4Cs). Their model adopted the Model of Derewianka and


                                Jones, but they integrated the value of 4Cs Hots throughout the teaching-

                                learning process. The model designed by Triastuti et al. is displayed in


                                figure2.
