learned about the language (Brown & Abeywickrama, 2018). For example,

if teachers wish to assess their students' writing abilities, they must ask

them to write. LLA tracks and evaluates student's language learning

                                progress and achievement.

Assessment encompasses events, instruments, procedures, and

decisions (Cheng & Fox, 2017; Taylor & Nolen, 2008). The assessment as

events refers to teachers' strategies to support students when organizing

assessment activities, such as the frequency of activities to ensure

instruction success. Next, assessment tools are instruments to gather

evidence of students' learning. The selection of inappropriate assessment

tools will impact the assessment results and their interpretation, so

assessment tools are crucial. In contrast, assessment processes refer to how

instructors, as members of a learning community, help students improve

their understanding through feedback and scaffolding.

Additionally, feedback assists students in enhancing their learning

process. Teachers facilitate student learning by providing accurate

grades/scores reflecting students' learning. In brief, implementing a

planned assessment with an appropriate instrument will yield information

on previous student learning outcomes that can be used to decide whether

to provide references to student learning outcomes or feedback for further

                                improvement.

However, assessment should be considered an integral component

of instruction and learning (Berry, 2008). Because it assists students in
