PA plays a crucial role in the context of AaL framework as it


                                   facilitates the active engagement of students in the educational process.

                                   By encouraging students to contribute their perspectives, PA fosters a

                                   collaborative learning environment where students can enhance their


                                   listening  skills,  analytical  abilities,  and  problem-solving  capabilities


                                   through peer interaction. PA allows them to interact with diversity in

                                   various  ways,  leading  to  criticism  and  assessment.  Students  are

                                   instructed to encourage independent study and take ownership of their


                                   education.

                                         Several empirical studies have investigated the implementation of


                                   SA and PA in writing instruction. The results have demonstrated the

                                   significance  of  SA  and  PA  in  developing  students'  writing  abilities.


                                   First,  Mazloomi  and  Khabiri  (2016)  examined  the  influence  of  SA

                                   training on students' writing ability as a writing task. The students were

                                   instructed to compose an expository essay. The researchers divided the


                                   sixty university students into two groups (the control group and the

                                   experimental group), but SA only intervened with the evaluations in the


                                   experimental  group.  They  discovered  that  the  application  of  SA

                                   significantly impacts the development of students' writing skills and


                                   their  general  language  proficiency.  Ratminingsih  et  al.  (2018)  also

                                   examined the contribution of SA to developing writing abilities in the


                                   EFL  context  in  Indonesia.  They  discovered  that  using  SA
