2.2 EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

            SIS  believes  that  the  work  conditions,  wages,  and  benefits  it  offers  its  employees  are
            competitive. If employees have concerns about work conditions or compensation, they are
            strongly  encouraged  to  voice  these  concerns  directly  to  the  Head  teacher  or  Principal.
            When employees deal openly and directly with the school heads, the work environment
            can be excellent, communications can be clear, and attitudes can be positive.

            Any  employee  with  questions  or  concerns  about  any  type  of  discrimination  in  the

            This  employees’  handbook  presented,  governs  all  aspects  of  employment,  including
            selection,  job  assignment,  compensation,  discipline,  termination,  and  access  to  benefits
            and training.

            2.4 OUR EXPECTATIONS

            Every  employee,  regardless  of  his/her  position  has  general  responsibilities  to  the
            organization. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
            (i) Cooperating with and respecting other members of the community which includes all
            staff, parents and students.
            (ii) Maintaining high standards of service and productivity.
            (iii) Being punctual.
            (iv) Caring for properties of Springsville International School.
            (v) Complying with all rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

            2.5      SCHOOL ETHICS AND CONDUCT
            The  successful  business  operation  and  reputation  of  SIS  is  built  upon  principles  of  fair
            dealing  and  ethical  conduct  of  our  staff.  Our  reputation  for  integrity  and  excellence
            requires careful observance of the spirit and letter of all applicable laws and regulations, as
            well as a scrupulous regard for the highest standards of conduct and personal integrity.
            The continued success of SIS is dependent upon PARENTS’ TRUST and we are dedicated to
            preserving that trust. Employees owe a duty to the school, its customers, and the entire
            community  to  act  in  ways  that  merit  the  continued  trust  and  confidence  of  all  and
            members of the public.
            SIS will comply with all applicable laws and regulations and expects all employees to work
            in accordance with the letter, spirit, and intent of all relevant laws and to refrain from any
            illegal, dishonest, or unethical conduct.
            In  general,  the  use  of  good  judgment,  based  on  high  ethical  principles,  will  guide  all
            employees  with  respect  to  lines  of  acceptable  conduct.  If  a  situation  arises  where  it  is
