difficult to determine the proper course of action, the matter should be discussed openly
            with the Head teacher or Principal for advice and consultation.
            Compliance  with  this  policy  of  business  ethics  and  conduct  is  the  responsibility  of  all
            employees of Springsville International School. Disregarding or failing to comply with this
            standard  of  business  ethics  and  conduct  could  lead  to  disciplinary  action,  up  to  and
            including termination of employment.

            2.6 NON-DISCLOSURE

            The protection of confidential business information is vital to the interests and the success
            of Springsville International School. Employees who improperly use or disclose confidential
            business information will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination
            of employment and legal action, even if they themselves do not benefit from the disclosed
            information.


            SECTION THREE
            3.1 MANPOWER RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION
            Recruiting  and  selecting  the  right  people  is  of  paramount  importance  to  the  continued
            success  of  Springsville  International  School.  This  sets  out  the  procedure  and  minimum
            qualification  to  ensure,  as  far  as  possible  that  the  process  is  free  from  bias  and
            discrimination and the best people are recruited on merit.
            Where it is determined that a vacancy has arisen within the School, the necessary criteria
            required to fill the vacant post will be decided thus:
            1. The relevant head of department/unit initiates a  request which shall be approved  by
            management. This will be verified in line with manpower plans and other relevant criteria.
            2. Announcement of such vacancies will be made known to qualified existing employees, as

            appropriate, and to external candidates through appropriate means.
            The necessary criteria required to fill the vacant post will be decided thus:
            The selection of suitable applicants from the applications received in line with Springsville
            International School minimum qualification requirement for the following job categories:

            Teachers:
                 B.Ed/M.Ed/Ph.D/D.Ed degree or B.Sc/M.Sc/BA/MA/Ph.D/PGDE/PGCE
                 TRCN
                 3-5 years teaching experience

            Assistant Teachers:
                 NCE
                 TRCN
                 1 to 3 years’ experience

            Administrative Staff:
                 First degree or equivalent (B.A/B.Sc/B.Ed/HND/OND)
                 Diploma or professional qualifications
                 2-5 years administrative experience
