              sorors wonder aloud, "How did I do all this and work too?

              Rho Chapter
              Many members volunteer their time by serving as ushers, mentors, office assistants. One Soror
              worked with students at Delaware Technical College. One Soror reads to the patients and
              siblings at the Ronald McDonald House. At church, sorors sever as Choir Directors, Ushers,
              Church Financial Tellers and Vocation Bible School Coordinators.

              Alpha Zeta Chapter
              On August 14,2019 Soror Dianne Gary-Jones who is now retired, responded to the call of action
              from a local television to come out and assist with the Ultimate Backpack Drive for RVA
              students. The goal was to pack 14,000 backpacks by 6:00 p. m. that day by filling each backpack
              with 20 school supplies.

              Alpha Chi Chapter
              In recognition of world Homeless Day, Soror Marge McDaniel and Anthropos Lee McDaniel
              participated in a Telethon hosted by the H.O.P.E Foundation to raise funds to assist with caring
              for the Homeless. The telethon was live-streamed on face book by former news anchor Regina
              Mobley. Soror McDaniel and her husband are foundation volunteers. The Foundation is the only
              summer homeless shelter in the Hampton Roads area, operating May through November. Soror
              McDaniel was able to present a check from Alpha Chi Chapter in the amount of $200 to help
              with this very worthy cause. Also, Sorors welcomed students back to school on the first day of
              school. During Jumpstart's 14th annual Read for the Record Day, the Basileus and Sorors read
              "Thank You Omu!" at different schools in Portsmouth

              Suggestions, recommendations and concerns:

              Commendations: Congratulations! And Special Thanks to Alpha, Zeta, Eta, Theta, Pi, Rho,
              Alpha Zeta, and Alpha Chi for submission of your Senior Teachers/Retired Teachers Report.

              Recommendations: All chapters should plan for involvement of their Senior Teachers/Retired
              Teachers Y.E.S. program.
              Adhere to deadlines in a timely manner.
