FOUNDERS' DAY: “Celebrating Our Founders” Number of Sorors: 35
Description of the Activity: Xi Chapter hosted the Founders Day celebration on Sunday, May 19, 2019.
Xi Chapter and Rho Chapter came together to honor our Founders, We worshiped at St. Daniels
Methodist church during the morning Service. Sorors gathered in their white attire and a mind to
remember the ladies who thought it not robbery to begin this great organization. Each chapter presented
a check to the church for their education department. After Church service we gathered at the Upper
Chichester Community Center for the program. Xi Chapter Sorors presented a program which seem to
be enjoyed by all. We were able to fellowship, dine and enjoy the festivities. We ended our afternoon
by participating in the ritualistic ceremony for Founders Day.

Others: 0 Description of the Activity: Monthly articles have been reviewed during the Chapter's
monthly meeting by Soror Leola Williams. Special articles are presented on different kinds of Cancer
SENIOR TEACHERS/SECOND CAREERS/RETIRED SORORS VOLUNTEER
PROGRAM (RSVP): Number of Sorors: 2 Others: 25 Description of the Activity: Retired
Soror Kirkland, Soror Williams and Anthropos Kirkland provides homework tutoring in an After School
Program on Monday to Wednesday from October to May. There are 32 Students participating in the
program and a total of 27 Adults volunteering to help with tutoring, preparing the dinner or driving the
van that brings the students to the program and taking them home. Students get help with their
homework, develop reading and math skills on days they do not have homework, work on projects and
long term assignments.
ANTHROPOS: 5 Number of Sorors: 1 Description of the Activity: Monthly meetings at
Soror Williams' home with a home cooked lunch. Mentoring Kudos. Attended Kudos and Xinos
induction presentation and the Meet the Chapter program in November. They present all of the Sorors
with a flower and box of chocolate candy for Valentine's Day and a small gift for Mother's Day.
