             PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

              TEACH-A-RAMA: Number of Sorors: 65Xinos:   0            Kudos: 0    Others: 8
              Description of the Activity: In lieu of Teach-A-Rama, Rho Chapter focused its efforts on
              planning, facilitating, and hosting the 2019 Cluster III Regional Meeting.  Chapter members
              served as hostesses on Saturday, September 14, 2019.  More than 65 members representing the
              NSPDK, Inc.; including the Supreme Basileus, 1st Anti-Supreme Basileus, Regional Director,
              other national and regional officers, and Eastern Regional Sorors representing more than
              thirteen chapters of our organization were present.

                     LEADERSHIP TRAINING: Number of Sorors: 65
              Description of the Activity: While attending the 79th Eastern Regional Conference and the 96th
              Conclave, Sorors received professional development in various workshops.  We are learning
              about Goggle Docs.  Our financial officers are learning Quick Books.  Soror Angela Ringgold
              facilitated a session on the utilization of ZOOM to conduct chapter committee meetings.  During
              the Cluster III, Regional Meeting, officers and Sorors facilitated and presented professional
              development and organizational management sessions designed to improve chapter and regional
              proficiency.  At Colonial School District, Soror Lisa Mims provided workshops at the
              Technology Conference.

                     PUBLIC RELATIONS: Number of Sorors:
              Description of the Activity: During Cluster III Meeting, prospective candidates for the Krinon
              Club were invited to attend and learn about our illustrious organization; purpose, mission, and
              Y.E.S. programs. Sorors attended and participated in a number of school board meetings, PTA
              groups, civic, community, and governmental organizations wearing sorority colors and letters in
              an effort to enhance the presence of the Chapter in the community. For the Bahama Hurricane
              victims, Sorors used a live broadcast to solicit educational supplies. The Sorors and Lisa Mims's
              students were featured in the Colonial School District Clippings Newsletter due to their
              collection of over 1,000 pairs of socks (Red Sock Initiative - Socktober. For Founders' Day we
              provided Survival Kits to the staff of Bancroft Elementary School.  The kit contained
              information about the origin of NSPDK, Inc. as well as candy, tea bag, rubber band, crayon,
              pennies, and gum.

              COMMISSION ON CIVIL RIGHTS, EDUCATION AND LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS
              (ACADEMIC ISSUES AND CURRENT TRENDS)
                     Number of Sorors:  5  Others: 50    Description of the Activity: In collaboration with the
              Wilmington Lions Club and Charles Potter, Former State Representative, we collected school
              supplies, books, electronic tablets, calculators, water, and clothes which were donated to the
              Bahama Hurricane victims.  Mr. Kyle Myers, CEO of Pneuma Capital Group and Sorors spoke
              to our listeners using live broadcast to solicit donations.


              INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS (SISTERHOOD)
                     Sisterhood Activities: Number of Sorors: 30       Others:
              Description of the Activity: Dr. Gladys Glover, Chaplain, called and inquired of members who
              are sick-and-shut in. Additionally, she had prayed for them.  She shared with the membership of
              their well- being.  Other members sent cards or visited infirmed Sorors at home or in nursing
              homes.  All members receive birthday cards.  Before or after our monthly meeting, Sorors spent
              time bonding and sharing our triumphs!
