On occasion, employees voluntarily leave the Company and later apply to return and are rehired.
In such cases, inquire with Human Resources as to how this has affected your benefits.
8.7 Pay Transparency Nondiscrimination Provision
nou Systems will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or
applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of
another employee or applicant. However, employees who have access to the compensation
information of other employees or applicants as part of their essential job functions cannot
disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have
access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint
or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an
investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the contractor’s legal duty to
furnish information. 41 CFR 60-1.35(c)
9.0 TIME OFF
9.1 Annual Leave
To promote a health balance between work and private life nSI provides a tiered annual leave
structure. The amount of leave granted is based on years of service and leave status at hire.
Tier Months of Service Days of Leave Accrual per semi-
monthly period (hrs)
1 0-24 10 3.333
2 24-72 15 5
3 72 and up 20 6.667
9.1.1 Accrual
Employees accumulate annual leave for every hour they work, up to 40 hours in a work week.
For full-time employees working less than 40 hours a week, the accrual rate is prorated based on
the employee’s normal work schedule. Barring any financial obligation that the employee may
have to nou Systems, Inc., accrued annual leave will be paid out when an employee leaves the
Company.
9.2 Personal Time Off
nSI also provides 48 hours of Personal Time Off each year. This leave may be used as sick leave
or for any other purpose. We offer this leave in lieu of sick leave because it gives our employees
the freedom to run errands, attend school functions, take sick leave, or handle personal matters
without using annual leave, or providing any justification for the leave. Personal Time Off is
accrued at a rate of 2.0 hours per pay period (48 hours/year). PTO can be used just like annual
