chapter’s February 2023
social event!

Carrousel Marie Watkins welcomed members
to her lovely home to partake in a delicious

southern brunch. Members honored their HBCU
or wore their sorority attire and danced to
“throw back" tunes from days gone by and had
a wonderful day of games, cards and friendship.

n 2022, my travels took me to the “Happy
Island” of Aruba, “Big Easy” of New Orleans,

IPikes Peak views in Colorado Springs, Colo.,
“Low Country” of Charleston, SC, Black Theater
Festival in Winston Salem, NC, my hometown
of Tuskegee Ala. for an awesome homecoming
and the “Sandhills” of Pinehurst, NC. Carafella

Lester and I will celebrate triple “GOLDEN” in
2023: my 50th reunion from Dillard University,
his 50th from Meharry Medical College and our

50th wedding anniversary in June.
