the New Year, Sparkling!

Carrousels “sparkled” at the January 2023 business meeting.
The hostess, Carrousel Taunula Grayson requested that

members “show up Sparkling” and everyone “understood the
assignment”

Annual Martin Luther King Holiday

Celebration

Several members of the Charlotte Carrousels collaborated and

attended the annual free Martin Luther King Holiday luncheon
that is a collaboration between public and private organizations,
including the City of Charlotte, Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and

other sponsors. The annual event recognizes local individuals in
the community. Carrousels Carlenia Ivory Cantey, Nancy Stroud,
Barbara Warren and Debbie Gibbs ( former honoree) volunteered
at the event. Charlotte Carrousels plan to make this a community
service project as we celebrate grassroot and community leaders

during the 10th year event.
