168 members of the 86th Recruite Training Troop were sworn in as
Massachusetts State Police Troopers on October 21, 2021 at the DCU
Center in Worcester. As these freshly minted troopers are transfered
across the Commonwealth to join our ranks, we would like to take a
moment to thank the entire academy staff for their efforts in preparing
them with the highest levels of training in prepartion to join one of
the premiere State Police agencies throughout the world. We would
also like to extend our thanks to each and every trooper assigned
as a Field Training Officer to these new troopers. Your experience
and guidance will complete the transition of these new troopers
from trainee to trooper as they come face to face with situations and
scenarios they only faced in training prior to their graduation. The
hours spent passing on your wisdom and experience is crucial in the
preparation for these new troopers to ride alone.
