COMPUTER EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
▪ Full knowledge of Windows Office Systems; particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
▪ Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Education: A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) is required.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of Disease Intervention or related field and/or equivalent professional
experience is required. Active certification as a phlebotomist is required.
Certification(s): Medical Assistant certificate is required. Active phlebotomist certification is required.
▪ 1 year of extensive working knowledge of STD’s/HIV
▪ Solid knowledge of EMR/EHR systems and telehealth
▪ Proof of continued education such as certifications
▪ Ability to perform Specimen collection/ Blood and Urine for STD/HIV Testing
▪ Has 500/501 HIV Training
▪ Hepatitis Testing Training
▪ Strong knowledge of PrEP (Pre-exposure prophylaxis)
▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
▪ Has the ability to interact effectively with consumers, administration, and staff
▪ Requires knowledge of varied social, economic, cultural, and lifestyle characteristics and the ability to
communicate with clients as well as target groups of diverse individuals
▪ Highly organized and proven strategic thinker with the ability to engage and motivate teams
▪ Strong work ethic; excellent interpersonal and influential skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work or related field.
Experience: Two or more (2+) years of professional work experience as a Case Manager, Medical Assistant, or
a similar role is preferred. Experience of one (1) year in Case Management is highly preferred. Bilingual
language skills are preferred.
Certification(s): Phlebotomist Certification is preferred
