Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Independent Medical Group, LLC (IMG) specializes in the testing, treatment, and
management of HIV, Hepatitis C, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Co-founders Clifford W. Knights and Steve
Vixamar have built a partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to level the playing field
for all high-risk Americans, no matter their race, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status. IMG offers an array of
services, including healthcare and pharmacy services, case management, mental health, and substance abuse
management. In this position, the Manager, Disease Intervention, manages a clinic and leads a team of Case
Managers that provides disease intervention awareness services to the public. The incumbent also supervises
testing, education, counseling, and referral services to individuals at risk of STD/HIV infections. The Manager,
Disease Intervention, (Site Manager) is responsible for the organization and oversight of one or more clinic
locations. You will assume responsibility for the health clinics' overall success by supervising staff, setting targets,
and ensuring that they are attained. Effective Site Managers are skilled in managing diverse operations from a
distance. They have a strategic mindset and are excellent leaders. Excellent abilities in financial, logistics, and
planning are also essential for the role. The Manager, Disease Intervention (Site Managers), works under the direct
supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

▪ Manages clinic day to day operations, which includes resources, inventory, and affiliate sites
▪ Maintains local affiliate relationships and schedules for onsite testing services
▪ Travels to different affiliate sites to secure new MOU's and retain relationships
▪ Supervises Patient Outreach Drivers and Case Manager/ Medical Assistants activities to help identify
individuals that are at risk for STD/HIV infection
▪ Demonstrates professional and interpersonal skills while interacting with clients and healthcare professionals
▪ Ensures proper collection and deposit of Specimens
▪ Responsible for the distribution of prescriptions delivered to clinics for patients
▪ Updates clinical standard operating procedures in coordination with the Director of Clinical Operations
▪ Audits cases to ensure CM-DI are completing all intake and clinical assessment forms.
▪ Leads community screening events by performing phlebotomy (specimen collection) to help identify individuals at risk of
STD/HIV. These events can occur before, during, or after regular working hours, including weekends or holidays.
▪ Formulates fruitful business development strategies to ensure long-term success
▪ Sets standards and objectives for different clinics and functional areas
▪ Optimizes and oversees operations to ensure efficiency
▪ Leads a team towards effective collaboration and the attainment of goals
▪ Undertakes sound financial management to ensure clinics are profitable and stay within budget
▪ Ensures compliance with company's policies and operational guidelines
▪ Deals with problems by providing creative and practical solutions
▪ Evaluates employee performance using key metrics and addresses issues to improve it
▪ Reports to senior executives on progress and issues
▪ Assists upper management in decisions for expansion or acquisition
