ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
● Live electrical panels must be kept secure
unless working on them;
● All tools shall be double insulated;
● Check for existing services and check layout
drawings;
● Provide plastic barriers and safety warning
signage to task work area & electrical
panels;
● Use glass fibre steps when working on live
systems;
● Wear Arc Flash PPE (When working on or
around live equipment)
● Test the circuit to ensure all electrical
connections are safe;
● Sign off electrical Test Certificate and issue
to the client;
● Close out Permit-to-Work and communicate
the work equipment is safe to use.
