g. What’s the most important leadership lesson you have learned and why it’s important?
Pat Klein Being empathetic. Caring about the person or people and not just about the results of a
project or work effort. Being able to visualize yourself in someone else’s shoes and the
impacts of decisions while having the pulse of the team is critical to being a successful

h. What factors do you consider most often when planning for future?

vital. Maintaining a positive outlook, even in stressful times, is meaningful and impactful for
teams.

Integrity, trust, diversity, inclusion and collaboration.
j. Share an interest, hobby or fun fact about yourself.
Many years ago, I had the privilege of taking a private tour of The White House with a 25-
year Secret Service member and the time being in the Oval Office was momentous. I felt
the history, the symbolism and the impact of what that space meant for our country and the
world.
