I have been with Essex for 1yr 5mos as the Director, IT Engineering and Service Delivery’

                           What I like best about Essex is the culture. There is a genuine attitude across the company’s
                           senior leaders that demonstrates they truly care about what matters and the importance
                           for acting with integrity.  Although I haven’t had the opportunity to meet Mike Schall
                           directly, his sincerity when speaking to the team (especially in his messages conveyed in
                           Coffee Talk) about how much the success of the company is a result of the people and their
                           contributions is uplifting to hear.

                           the company’s Digital Transformation journey.  Overall, the company recognizes the
                           importance with making process improvements to achieve advancements with

                           As a leader, I am authentic, optimistic, and devoted. My confidence as an IT professional is
                           based on building and strengthening teams leveraging both in-house and outsourced third-
                           party experts so the internal team doesn’t have to feel they have to take on the increase in
                           demands.  I always seek the positive outlook, outcome, and am committed to the entire
                           lifecycle for a solution from conception to decommission.

                           There is no “I’ in Team.   Leaders across the organization must work together to achieve
                           success.  Otherwise, separate silos are established, battle lines are drawn, communication
                           stops, trust in each other disappears and any kind of collaboration or joint work in
                           innovation is next to impossible.

                           When planning for future I consider these things:
                             − Define the problem, or situation seeking to improve.
                             − What are the dependencies, i.e. critically related items.
                             − What are the key metrics for improvement.
                             − What is needed to introduce change effectively.

                           My personal core values are Integrity and Honesty, Empathy, Respect for others, Vision and
                           Dedication

                           Fun Fact: I have always had a passion with landscape design and spending weekend time in
                           the yard caring for topiaries, bonsai plants, and vegetable gardening.
