I have been with Essex for 1 year and 7 months. My positions have been: Senior Associate,
Asset Management and Manager, Asset Management. I love that Asset Management is
very hands-on, and that so much of the work that I do directly impacts our residents. I
enjoy providing the best experience possible for our customers while also improving Essex’s
                           communities.

Jonathan The most important leadership lesson that I have learned is that you can always learn from
others. It’s important to recognize your own strengths and take the time to listen to others
Braun around you. The different experiences and skillsets that others bring to the table is what
can ultimately create a resourceful and powerful team.

Management I always try to put myself in a position that allows for continued professional growth. I
constantly try to gain exposure to new teams, projects, and tasks that expand beyond my
         PNW
existing role to broaden my knowledge. My personal core values are: Integrity, reliability,
                           and open-mindedness

Fun Fact: I am a twin.

I’ve been with Essex for 8 and a half years; April of 2021 will be my 9 anniversary.
I love the people at Essex, I can always reach out to anyone either within my department or
from other departments and everyone is always very helpful and do not mind sharing what
they know. In addition, my boss always provides all the tools and guidance I need to do my
                           job and exceed.

Trissie My greatest strength would be my organizational skills and the ability to learn quickly. I
have learned that even though everyone on the team has their own responsibilities, it’s
Nguyen important to cross train your team because otherwise the group will struggle when
someone is off on vacation or if there is an open position. There’s never enough time to
Manager- train when you need help. It’s also important to be organized and transparent within the

Asset group so having weekly meetings for updates on projects is invaluable.
