According to Navis' opinion above that a proverb word

or sentence is a sentence that describes the laws or provisions
of nature contained in natural philosophy, namely "alam

takambang becomes a teacher". The provisions of nature are
universal, unchanging, certain and true, because they are

creations from the Creator. This provision is alluded to in adat
which is actually adat which is described by adat doctrine as

follows: “not weathered because the rain is not curving due to

heat from which a law called “basabab Bakarano” or the law of
causality can be drawn from. Furthermore, AA Navis

explained:
The main form of the proverb consists of two

sentences, each sentence consists of two words, the first
sentence has actually been completed, but is

accompanied by the second fifth child as a complement

so that the two parts become a complete sentence as in
Minangkabau literature. In terms of its nature, the

second part of the sentence complements three kinds,
