     100 Days and Maths Week

         100 Days and

         Maths Week

The goal of celebrating 100 days at school is to
reinforce the reading, writing, and most importantly,
math skills that EPG children have learnt. Children
were expected to count to 100 on the 100th day of
school. Our children engaged in lots of different
activities and ways to count to 100. The welcoming
of this milestone event started by decorating the
classroom door with creative “100 days at School”
theme by the teachers and then activities were
designed to allow children to enjoy this week fully.

One of the most interesting classroom-based activities
included the encouragement of children to write any
word on the canvas until they reached 100 words.
Moreover, shape-painting activities were added to
the list with the creation of 100 shaped masks and
headdress designs. Also, our aim to make math fun
was ful lled as the EPG children were encouraged to
count out 100 pieces of toys into groups of 10. They
had a lot of fun dancing to number songs and having
their cats walk with their colourful number shirts.
What an amazing 100-day school event!
