Language Day

The Holy Qur'an is written in the Arabic
language to give signi cance to the importance
of the language, as God Almighty revealed it
to the Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon
Him. English Playgroup is eager to celebrate
World Arabic Language Day, which falls on
the 18th December each year, with a full-day
event that includes activities and competitions
all related to the Arabic language. During the
assembly, our children participate wearing
their national dress with proudness singing
songs for this event, as well as the recitation of
some Arabic poems that explain the value and
beauty of our language. Outside of the classroom,
our children enjoy activities such as competitions
and games, as well as the puppet show, where
they listen to the most beautiful, meaningful,
and fun stories. This event promotes our
children's love of the Arabic language and the
importance of studying it because it is their
rst language.
