EPG Staff Continuous
Professional Development
EPG Early Years’ Teachers were enthusiastic when
they returned for the start of Term Two, after the
Winter Break, on 3 January 2023. From across our
35 branches, all teachers, who teach different
subjects and class levels, eagerly attended a full day of
Continuous Professional Development (CPD). The
training was conducted by our team of leaders who
have a wealth of experience in the eld of Early
Childhood Education. Various pertinent topics relating
to teaching and learning strategies, behaviour
management and enabling environments were
discussed.
Our teachers are continually motivated to develop
professionally, so that they can be “the best they can
be” in providing our children with the highest standard
of education. During January, our management
team went on a rigorous drive to have an in-Branch
training with teachers, and the focus was “Guided
Reading”. Our Lead Teachers at various branches
were also trained to provide Guided Reading training
to teachers at their speci c branches; our Academic
Administrators were also trained on “Guided Reading”
so that they can mentor and support teachers at
branch level.
Induction and training were provided at our conference
centre to welcome teachers who have newly joined
EPG, aimed at helping them settle in as they embark
on their teaching journey at EPG.
CPD and training have also been extended by our
team to our Branch Managers and Administration
Staff who were trained on the Positive Handling and
Safeguarding Policy.
