Sample answer:
Yes, I do believe that early CPR increases the survival rate of the patient from heart
attack because the brain wouldn’t lose the oxygen that he needs in order to supply
the heart and the entire body the proper amount of blood that it needs. A matter of 2
minutes, at the most, is the most fatal time for survival.

               2. What is the definition of Basic Life Support?
                  Sample answer:
Basic Life Support, as defined by the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association,
is the fundamental emergency treatment consisting of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
or emergency cardiac care (ECC) that is provided until more precise medical treatment can
                  begin.

               3. Why do you think that everybody from all walks of life including lay people
and not just health practitioners should learn about basic life support and
                  first aid treatment?

                  Sample answer:
Emergency and accidents may happen any time to anybody. Thus, everybody must be ready
and be aware of the things that they should do in order to save lives until the Emergency Medi-
cal Assistance arrives. If we are properly trained, we wouldn’t be afraid of accidents when they
                  strike.
