Technical development and know-how
Yoon: First of all, based on our technical developments and know-how, we have not only produced
distinct computer monitor sets but we have also come up with an excellent design. This is just
the first of many more innovations that our products will showcase this year. You see, we plan
to present a series of new items every semester. Each series will be about a particular feature
that only our items possess.
Richards: Yes, I have heard about your new items. I’m amazed with your plan. Your items will
surely take the market by storm. How can you keep up with these major innovations? Of course,
all these take a lot of planning, especially by your technical staff.
Yoon: You can say that again, Mr. Richards. The planning did not happen overnight. This is a
product of a long-term plan to enhance the technical features of our products. Our technical
staff is continuously working for innovation. We never stop. These are the fruits of our labor.
As a result of our foray into new designs, the screen quality is superb. Would you like to have a
look at them? As I am sure you know, first-hand information is always more comprehensive and
valuable than simply reading a catalog. Seeing is believing.

1. What technological development has your product recently undergone?
Sample answer:
I’m proud to say that our computer items have recently undergone a memory overhaul. We
now have the biggest memory available for hard drives. I think that’s a big plus.
2. How does your company ensure that your items undergo continuous tech-
nical development?
Sample answer:
We have a team of techie people composed of computer technicians, engineers, and nerds.
They continuously improve our computers by researching and making comparative studies of
our items and those available in the market. Their work never stops.
