Unit 9
We Learn to speak our mind and take
sides
Jonathan: That shot was incredible. We are witnessing two players doing their very best.
Michael: I felt the old player deliberately hold back while watching the younger player.
Jonathan: Yes, there was unspoken exchange between two players throughout the game.
Michael: The younger player positioned the placing and didn’t attack. He’s issuing a challenge.
Jonathan: That move surprised me. I didn’t think he would overtly challenge the older player.
Michael: I never imagined the younger player taking the lead this early. The other guy screamed.
Jonathan: I think the younger player has a master plan. He’s just waiting for the right moment.
Michael: Most likely, the older player is just waiting for the moment to pounce, as well.
Jonathan: Is that what you think?
Michael: Yeah. Well, do you have any other side of the story?
Jonathan: Not really, this match is history in the making. I’m glad we were able to watch it live.
Michael: I agree on that. People will be talking about this match in the years to come.
Jonathan: You know, we really learn from life through this ball game. We learn to speak our
mind and take sides.
Michael: Whatever happens, I’ll go for the younger player, I like the way he issued the challenge.

Yes, it was on a basketball game. During the match, I noticed the unspoken challenge
