PONCE de Leon Camp, Melvin W. Byers #503, Fort Myers, FL., Wilhelm
Llanillo, President/Florida Regional Representative. On 23 March 2024, Heroes
of ’76 from Ponce De Leon Camp (Melvin W. Byers, Chapter #503) and James
Madison Camp (Treasure Coast Chapter #568) held an Encampment at Labelle
Masonic Lodge, Labelle, FL. The Heroes initiated Recruits from James Madison
Camp. The Encampment was presided over by Bro. Ed Lanham, the Guardhouse
briefing was conducted by Bro. Jay Champion, the History and the Toast to the
Flag was recited by Bro. Jim Bolla, the Bennington Flag and Heroes of ‘ 76
Medal lectures was given by Bro. Wilhelm Llanillo, the Monitor lecture was
given by Bro. Arthur Pokorny, and the Charge was delivered by Bro. Ed
Lanham. The lunch was prepared by Camp Follower Lady Amy Llanillo.

Bro. Jim Bolla recited the “Toast to the Flag”.
