NORTH CAROLINA CHAPTER
No. 97, James Pugsley, Secretary. On
Thursday evening, 30 May 2024, North
Carolina Chapter No. 97 and Cornelius
Harnett Camp of Heroes of ’76 had the
privilege of conferring the Master Masons
Degree at Lebanon Lodge No. 391 in Hope
Mills, NC in colonial uniform by candlelight.
There were 57 master masons in attendance
from across North Carolina. The ladies of
Hope Mills Chapter No. 227, Order of the
Eastern Star and Camp Followers of
Cornelius Harnett Camp of Heroes provided
a fantastic meal befitting the occasion. The
newly raised brothers were Adrian Carrillo
(Phoenix #8), Avery Delpit (Phoenix #8), and Paul Skinner (Bladen #646). Worshipful Brother James Pugsley
(Carolina Area Representative) presided in the east with Worshipful Brother Troy Chandler (Past President/
Past Commander) filling the Senior Warden’s chair, Worshipful Brother Michael Noack (President) filling the
Junior Warden’s chair, Worshipful Brother Ken Wical (Past President/Past Commander) Senior Deacon and
Worshipful Brother Adam Courtney (Current Master of Lebanon Lodge and First Vice President) Junior
Deacon. Other Sojourners taking part were Brothers Klaus Meckenstock, Nelson Sanchez, Michael Albertson,
Mark Saults, Ian Harbison, Joseph Thompson, Michael Reschke, Jeff Wade, and Keith Stika (Regional
Representative – SC). Worshipful Brother Michael Aycock (Commander) presented the Toast to the Flag .
