REDSTONE CHAPTER #353, Jason Crowe, Secretary. Members of Redstone Chapter No. 353 deployed
in Heroes of ’76 regalia to participate in two separate wreath laying ceremonies this past Memorial Day. Past
President and current Secretary Jason Crowe joined with Past Masters and Officers of Helion Lodge #1 to lay
a wreath at the Veterans of Foreign Wars monument at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, AL. Later that
afternoon, Redstone Chapter #353 joined with Most Excellent Grand High Priest, Mike Feld, of the Grand
Chapter of Royal Arch Masons for the state of Alabama and LtCol Dave Dunlap of the local Military Order of
World Wars Chapter to lay a wreath at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Huntsville, AL. This represents both a
broadening and deepening of the relationship between Redstone Chapter #353 and other Masonic and Military
organizations in the state as well as the city of Huntsville.

LIGHT HORSE HARRY LEE CAMP, Old Dominion Chapter #364, Les Albers, Adjutant. On 19 March
2024, Brother Les Albers, Adjutant, Light Horse Harry Lee
Camp, presented the poem “The Toast to the Flag” to the 45
attendees at the installation of Ms. Deborah Edenhart as Worthy
Matron to Wimodausis Chapter #106, Order of the Eastern Star
at Manasseh Lodge #182 in Manassas, VA. Her theme is
patriotic, so the Toast was most appropriate. The ceremony
began with the presentation of the National Colors by Preston
Hamrick of the Prince William DeMolay Chapter. Preston had
presented the DeMolay Flower Talk to our Chapter in May
2021. The installing officer, Ms. Robin Dawson, lead the
gathering in the Pledge of Allegiance and the entire group sang
the National Anthem. As the final activity of the installation,
Brother Albers provided a brief history of the Toast, a heartfelt
introduction, and a rousing interpretation of “The Toast to the
Flag” for which he received words of thanks from several of the
         guests.
