SAND PLYWOOD:
I used an orbital power sander with 120 grit sandpaper to sand the face and edges of the plywood dash. The glove box door
gap at the upper right-hand corner was fairly tight, so it was a good time to do some extra sanding to make it fit better.
A multi-task tool can be used to get into the tight inside radiuses.
FILL IMPERFECTIONS:
Use a wood filler to repair any imperfections in the plywood dash, let dry and sand smooth. I used a two-part filler similar
to body work Bondo. [Follow directions for product you purchase!] I also repaired and glued some issues on the backside
of the dash to provide more stability.
