          For Military (Active/AGR) only: Nominations and applications are being accepted to attend the
          competitive FY2023/2024 Defense Comptrollership Program at Syracuse University, NY
          commencing May 2023. Applications with all supporting documents must be received NLT 23
           September 2022. The selection panel will convene NLT 4 October 2022 and results released by 14

           October 2022. All interested personnel are encouraged to start working on respective application

           (NEW) FY23 FINANCE AND COMPTROLLER SCHOOL - UNIVERSITY

          OF SOUTH CAROLINA (FCS-UofSC) DATA ANALYTICS PROGRAM.

           The Finance and Comptroller School (FCS) is pleased to announce the new schedule of classes for

           the FY23 FCSUofSC Data Analytics Program. Qualified Soldiers and DA Civilians from all
          components may apply for this opportunity. The course information and application materials are
          found within our Army 365 MS Teams and SharePoint page, "FCS-UofSC Data Analytics Program",

           (NEW) DIGITAL CURRENCY AND NATIONAL SECURITY EXECUTIVE
                                                     OVERVIEW.


          The Digital Currency and National Security Executive Overview course is now available on JKO
           (https://jkodirect.jten.mil). Course Prefix, Number and Name: “SOC, OM-US844, Digital Currency

           and National Security Executive Overview”. This course provides an executive-level overview of
          how cryptocurrency functions and its application to National Security issues.  Commonly referred
          to as ‘Cryptocurrency for Executives’, the tutorial examines important topics like the origins of
          cryptocurrency, how it works ‘under the hood’, and how the medium is used around the world for
          licit, illicit and national purposes that impact national security and military operations. The course
          provides an executive level awareness and ‘so-what’ to this rapidly evolving medium of digital

          value exchange.  Desired outcomes: After completing this video, leaders should understand how
           cryptocurrency and blockchain functions, its implications to National Security, and global adoption
          and usage by nations and other actors in the global environment.  Leaders are informed and
          prepared to engage in policy, capability and operational discussions involving digital value transfer
