                   MEET THE NEW HONORARY SERGEANT MAJOR OF THE
                                                      REGIMENT

                                         CSM (R)Jacqueline Peachers


          CSM (R) Jacqueline E. Peachers, originally from Shreveport, LA, initially
          entered the U.S. Army on October 31, 1991 to serve in the US Army Reserve.
          She completed Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC and graduated AIT at
          Fort Benjamin Harrison, IN.  She enlisted as an Active Army member on 3
          January 1993.  After achieving the rank of Command Sergeant Major, she
          retired September 2023, with 30 years of service.

          S. Korea.  She culminated her army career serving as the USARCENT G8 Sergeant Major, SHAW
          AFB, SC.  She has experience in various sections of Finance, including Military Pay and
          Disbursing.  She has held various senior NCO leadership positions to include, Detachment
          Sergeant, Course Director, First Sergeant, Noncommissioned Officer Academy Commandant, and
          Battalion Command Sergeant Major.  As a retired service member, she continues to represent the
          Finance Corps as a Department of the Army Civilian, serving as the Fort Jackson, S.C. Army
          Military Pay Office Deputy Director.

          CSM (R) Peachers’ military and civilian education includes: Basic Leaders Course, Advanced
          Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Company Commander/1SG Course, EO Leaders Course,
          Supervisor Development Program, Staff and Faculty Development Course, Department of the Army
          First Sergeant Course and she is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy,
          Class 63.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Sullivan University and a Master’s
          Degree in Human Resources from Webster University.

          Her awards and decorations include: the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal
          with five oak leaf clusters, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal with
          two oak leaf clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with 1 silver oak leaf cluster, the Driver’s Badge
          and the Air Assault Badge. She is a recipient of the Finance Corps Major General Nathan Towson
          Medallion and the Finance Corps Distinguished Member of the Corps Medallion.  She is a member
          of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

          CSM (R) Peachers is married to Mr. Kearney Peachers and together they have three sons.
