FROM THE FCA PRESIDENT

          Dear Financial Managers,

I am thrilled to announce the commencement of the Finance Corps
Association’s Officer nominations and elections for the 2024-2026 term. This
pivotal election marks the dawn of a new leadership era with the election of the
President and Vice President. Consequently, I will be concluding my term as

President on May 2, 2024, paving the way for fresh ideas and leadership within
the Finance Corps Association (FCA). In the coming three months, our primary
focus will revolve around several critical initiatives:
                                                                                                 CSM (R) Morrissette
          1. Officer Nomination Process: We are initiating the process by inviting nominations for the
forthcoming FCA elections, which will determine the next President and Vice President. Additionally,
we are actively seeking volunteers for key roles such as Secretary, Treasurer, and other vital
           positions within our organization.

            2. FCA Election and Voting Period: The election process is scheduled to occur from November 1,
2023, to December 10, 2023. Be on the lookout for the voting link in your email on November 1, 2023.
The newly elected Officers will officially assume their roles on May 2, 2024, coinciding with our
           Regimental Week.

            3. Regimental Week 2024: Believe it or not, Regimental Week is just nine months away. We have
already commenced the process of selecting a location, planning an exciting golf tournament, and
exploring innovative ideas to make this Regimental Week one for the history books in our Corps. This
Regimental Week holds special significance as it will mark the inauguration of the newly elected
President, Vice President, and their respective staff for the Finance Corps Association. The planning
and preparation for Regimental Week 2024 will serve as a transitional period, symbolizing the
transition of leadership and responsibilities from the current FCA administration to the incoming
          leadership, staff, and officers.

          4. Volunteers are Welcome: Your leadership and willingness to volunteer during this transition period
are of paramount importance. If you would like to volunteer, please feel free to send an email to the

FCA Secretary at fcasec3@gmail.com. Please review the FCA positions and responsibilities at
          https://www.fincorps.org/by-laws.

Last but certainly not least, I would be remiss if I did not extend a warm welcome to our new
Commandant and Chief of the Finance Corps, COL Michelle M. Williams, and her family. COL Williams'

appointment is not only historically significant, but she symbolizes the transformation necessary to
equip the Finance and Comptroller Soldiers and Civilians with the training and tools to navigate the
new digital landscape and maximize the value of Financial Management to the warfighter. We stand
united in supporting her vision for the Corps. We eagerly anticipate maintaining our strong

relationship and contributing to the advancement of our Corps under her leadership. Welcome
            Ma'am!

To our valued FCA members, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering dedication and
support in furthering the FCA's mission, and for your support during my tenure as President.
Together, we will fortify our FCA and the Financial Management Community, staying true to our

            motto:

                                                  "To Support and Serve."
