DI - 48 Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts
d. Measure the resistance between Pin 3 of inlet manifold
pressure/temperature sensor connector A009 and Pin 23 of
engine ECM connector A001.
Standard resistance:
Multimeter connection Standard value
A009(3)-A001(23) About 0Ω
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 4.
NO>Repair or replace the failed harness
4. Check the pressure-temperature signal circuit of sensor.
a. Ignition switch: LOCK.
b. Disconnect the cable of battery negative pole
c. Disconnect the connector A009 of intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor and ECM connector A001
separately
d. Measure the resistance between Pin 1,4 of inlet manifold
pressure/temperature sensor connector A009 and Pin 70,65
of engine ECM connector A001.
Standard resistance:
Multimeter connection Standard value
A009(1)-A001(70) About 0Ω
A009(4)-A001(65)
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 5.
NO>Repair or replace the failed harness
5. Replace and check the intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor
a. Replace the intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor.
b. Use the diagnosis instrument to perform DTC confirmation procedure and read sensor data stream
procedure
c. Read the data of intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor indicated on diagnostic unit.
Check if the result is ok?
Yes> Replace the intake manifold pressure/temperature sensor.
NO>go to Step 6.
6. Replace ECM
a. Replace ECM.
b. Use the diagnosis instrument to perform DTC confirmation procedure
c. Perform the procedure of reading the sensor data stream. Confirm there is no DTC and the data is normal.
