Fan fault IN
Overview

When the metal temperature sensor of fan is deformed by sensing the temperature of air around the heat DI
radiator, this fan is controlled by a silicone oil clutch, and mainly used for heat dissipation of engine system.
The engine crankshaft can drive the valve disc drive pin and control the deflection of valve disc to a certain

angle via the rotation of belt drive fan, its fuel feed hole opens to make the silicone enter into its working

chamber and transmit the torque by adopting the shear adhesion of silicone oil.

Diagnosis procedure
1. Check the drive belt. ST

a. Turn the cab forward.
BR
b. Press the drive belt by hands to check it for loosening.
Check if the result is ok?
BW
Yes>adjust the tension of belt.
NO>go to Step 2.
2. Check the fan. EL

a. Stop the engine for a while, and it’s difficult to turn the fan blades by hands.

b. Start the engine until it runs at normal temperature.

c. Stop the engine again, and it’s easier to turn the fan blades by hands.

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 3.
No>check, repair or replace the fan.

3. Check and replace the fan.

a. Replace the fan, run the engine to make its running conditions available, and check whether the fan is

normal.
Check if the result is ok?
Yes> Replace the fan.

No>check the reason from other failures.
