Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 3. TR
NO>replace the fuse or relay.
3. Check the preheating circuit. AX
a. Adopt a multimeter to separately measure the resistance between #30 hole seat of preheating relay R01 and
preheating fuse GF\L3 or between #87 hole seat and preheater F019.

Check if the result is ok?
BW
Yes>go to Step 4.
No>repair the relevant harness.

4. Check the pre-heater
a. Adopt a multimeter to measure the resistance between both ends of preheater.
Standard resistance:
Multimeter connection Standard value
Two ends of pre-heater About 7Ω
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 5.
NO>replace the pre-heater
5. Check the crankshaft/cam shaft position sensor and relevant circuit
a. Check the crankshaft position sensor(Refer to “Chapter DI Diagnosis-Diagnosis of Engine Electric Control
Fault-Fault of Crankshaft Position Sensor”)
b. Check the camshaft position sensor (refer to Chapter DI diagnosis- engine electronic control fault
diagnosis–camshaft position sensor failure)
Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 6.
No>replace relevant fault sensor or faulty harness.
