DI - 130 Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts

CAN communication failure
7 + 1 SAEJ1939 short circuit or open circuit
7 + 1 SAEJ1939ERC_ER packet timeout

Diagnosis procedure
1. Check CAN circuit of ABSECU

a. Disconnect ABSECU connector B062.
b. Take a multimeter to measure the continuity between No. 1 and No. 2 terminal on ABSECU connector
B063.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

B063(1)-B063(3) About 60Ω
Check if the result is ok?

Yes>go to Step 2.
No> Check if the terminal resistance in the loop is correct.
2. Check the circuit between the ABS and the combination meter

a. Ignition switch:LOCK.

b. Disconnect the cable of battery negative pole.
c. Disconnect ABSECU connector B063 and combination meter connector B014.
d. Take a multimeter to measure the continuity between the terminal on the combination meter connector
B014 and the terminal on the ABSECU connector B063.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

B014(11)-B063(3) About 0Ω

B014(12)-B063(1) About 0Ω

e. Ignition switch: LOCK, Measure the resistance between terminals of ABSECU connector F017 and
grounding with a multimeter.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

B063(1)-grounding No breakdown
B063(3)-grounding No breakdown
Check if the result is ok?

Yes>go to Step 3.
NO>repair the circuit between ABSECU and the combination instrument.
