DI - 126 Diagnosis - Diagnosis-fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical parts

2. Check the wheel speed sensor

a. Ignition switch:LOCK.
b. Disconnect the cable of battery negative pole
c. Disconnect left front wheel speed sensor connector F020.

d. Take a multimeter to measure the continuity between the
No. 1 terminal and No. 2 terminal on the diagnostic
interface connector F020.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

F020(1)-F020(2) About 1500Ω

Check if the result is ok?
Yes>go to Step 3.

NO>repair the left front wheel speed sensor.
3. Check the wheel speed sensor

a. Ignition switch:LOCK.
b. Disconnect ABSECU connector B064 and left front wheel speed sensor connector F020.

c. Take a multimeter to check the resistance between the
terminal on ABSECU connector B064 and that on the left
front wheel speed sensor connector F020.
Standard resistance:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

B064(12)-F020(1) About 0Ω

B064(15)-F020(2) About 0Ω

d. Connect the ABSECU connector. Ignition switch: ON.

e. Check the voltage and the resistance between No. 1 and No. 2 terminal on the left front wheel speed sensor
connector F020 and grounding.
Standard:

Multimeter connecting terminal Standard value

F020(1)-grounding About 0V
F020(2)-grounding About 0V

F020(1)-grounding No breakdown
F020(2)-grounding No breakdown
Check if the result is ok?

Yes> Repair wheel speed sensor circuit.
NO> Replace ABS ECU.
