Introduction - How to remove the vehicle faults IN - 39
3. Heating method--for the fault possibly caused by IN
heating of some part
a. Adopt a blower or similar tool to heat the part possible to DI
cause the fault, and check whether the fault occurs.
Caution EG
● The heating temperature shall not exceed 60℃ to
avoid any part damage. TR
● Don’t heat the part inside the control module directly.
4. Rain method--for the fault possibly caused by rain or high-humidity environment. AX
a. Spray the water on the vehicle, and check whether the fault occurs.
Caution FR
● Don’t spray the water on electric elements directly.
● If water leakage occurs to the vehicle, the leaked fluid may damage the control module. ST
5. High electric load method--for the fault possibly caused by overhigh electric load.
BR
a. Open all the electric appliances including air conditioner, headlamp, rear windscreen heater, etc, and
check whether the fault occurs.
List of diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) BW
Take DTC list of engine control system as an example, as shown in the table below.
This table indicates DTC and lists the corresponding test procedures. Remedy the faults as per this table to EL
improve the efficiency and accuracy greatly.
Error code list
Use the list below to help you find the reasons of failures. Check each part according to this order. Replace the
parts if necessary
Caution
When performing DTC check in the inspection mode, if one DTC appears, check the corresponding circuit
system of code listed in the list below
