Heater and air conditioner-hot air water tank

5. Remove the air conditioner control mechanism (refer to “chapter 51 heater and air
conditioner- control mechanism, replacement”)
6. Remove the evaporator (refer to “chapter 51 heater and air conditioner- evaporator,
replacement”)
7. Remove the transition air duct
(a). Loosen the bolt and remove the transition
air duct.

8. Remove the hot air water tank assembly
(a). Loosen the 2 nuts and remove the hot air
water tank assembly.

9. Remove the hot air water tank
(a). Loosen the 3 bolts and remove the hot air 51
water tank.

10. Inspect the hot air water tank
(a). Check whether there is leakage while
filling coolant liquid into the hot air water
tank.

(b). Inspect whether the fins of hot air water tank
are straight, if they are distorted, flattened or
collapsed, repair them with fin combs.
