3. Checking harnesses
(a) Use a multimeter to measure resistances of harnesses between high beam relays R30 and
R31 and left and right combination headlights.
Resistance: ≤2Ω
(b) Use a multimeter to measure resistances of harnesses between high beam relays R30 and
R31 and ground.
Resistance: >1MΩ
Are check results normal?
Yes > Go to step 4.
No > Repair or replace harnesses.

4. Checking combination switch

(a) Check combination switch.
Resistances:

Use a multimeter to Specified
Condition
connect pins value
High beam switch 9 - 12 > 1 MΩ
OFF
High beam switch 9 - 12 ≤ 2 Ω
ON

Are check results normal?
Yes > Replace bulbs.
No > Replace combination switch.
