Diagnostic Procedure

• Check if brake (or clutch) fluid level is too low. If so, add designated special brake (or
clutch) fluid.
• Apply parking brake.
• Start the engine.
Check whether brake (or clutch) fluid level warning light is always lighted up or does not come on.
Yes > (Always lighted up) go to step 1.
No > (Does not come on) go to step 3.
1. Checking signal and ground circuits of brake (or clutch) fluid level warning light
(a) Ignition switch: OFF.
(b) Apply parking brake.
