                                           Transmission (646b/651b)-transmission assembly

                                                                (b).   Install the reverse-gear synchronizer and the retainer
                                                                    ring.

















                                                                21.   Install the secondary-axle reverse gear
                                                                (a).   Install the reverse gear needle bearing.
                                                                (b).  Install the reverse gear attachment.

                                                                Notice:
                                                                •    The needle steering installed in the gear shall not
                                                                    be higher than the end face of the gear; otherwise,
                                                                    new needle bearing shall be replaced with.
                                                                •    Shake the needle bearing before installation to see
                                                                    whether any needles are missed; if the bearing is
                                                                    damaged, replace it in time.

                                                                    lockpin synchronizers

                                                                Notice:
                                                                The conical surface must be towards the
                                                                secondary-shifting gear during the installation, the
                                                                gear can’t be shifted or the transmission will be even
                                                                damaged if installing in the wrong direction.
