18. Inspect the gear ring and gear seat of
synchronizer
(a). Inspect the sliding conditions of the gear ring and
gear seat.

(b). Measure the fit clearance of the gear ring and the
shift fork.

651 B 0.1~0.29 mm 1 mm

If the fit clearance is beyond the limit value, replace the
relevant gear ring and the shift fork.

19. Install the secondary-axle and first-shifting gear
attachment
(a). Install the first-shifting gear needling bearing.
(b). Install the secondary-axle and first-shifting gear
attachment.

31A Notice:
• The needle steering installed in the gear shall not
be higher than the end face of the gear; otherwise,
new needle bearing shall be replaced with.
• Shake the needle bearing before the installation to
see whether any needles are missed; if the bearing
is damaged, replace it in time.

20. Install the reverse-gear synchronizer
(a). Install the gear seat of the reverse-gear synchronizer
into the gear ring of the synchronizer.
