Transmission (646b/651b)-transmission assembly

11. Remove the reverse gear
(a). Remove the reverse gear attachment and the needle
bearing from the secondary axle.

12. Remove the reverse-gear synchronizer
(a). Remove the reverse-gear synchronizer retainer ring.
(b). Remove the reverse-gear synchronizer assembly
from the secondary axle.

13. Disassemble the reverse-gear synchronizer 31A
(a). Separate the gear ring and gear seat of the
reverse-gear synchronizer.

(b). Detect the gear ring and gear seat of the reverse-gear
synchronizer. (Refer to “chapter 31a transmission
