Transmission (646b/651b)- Intermediate axle assy

Replacement

1. Remove the fifth-shifting gear of
the intermediate axle
(a). Remove the retainer ring.
(b). Press out the fifth-shifting gear of the
intermediate axle with a press.

(c). Take down the short flat key.

2. Remove the sixth-shifting and
fourth-shifting gears of the
intermediate axle
(a). Press out the sixth-shifting and
fourth-shifting gears of the
intermediate axle with a press.

(b). Take down the long flat key and the
sleeve gasket.
