Handcuff Knot
Quickly made, the handcuff knot is a
slick bit of knot tying. The trick is to
have the rope arranged properly over
your hands and to catch the loops
with your fingers. If you have need to
use this in place of more conventional
handcuffs, tighten round wrists and
tie off the ends with a reef knot.
Escapologists will not bless your
knotting skills.
Pocket Guide to Knots & Splices
1 Pick up the line in the middle, have the
left-hand standing part to the front of your
left hand and the right-hand standing part
to the back of fhe right hand.
2 With your left fingers cateh the line at the
back of your right hand while the right
fingers catch the line in the front of the left
hand.
3 Pull your hands apart, still holding the line
with your fingers.
4 The finished knof.
