Handcuff Knot




                Quickly made, the handcuff knot is a
                slick bit of knot tying. The trick is to
                have the rope arranged properly over

                your hands and to catch the loops
                with your fingers. If you have need to

                use this in place of more conventional
                handcuffs, tighten round wrists and
                tie off the ends with a reef knot.

                Escapologists will not bless your
                knotting skills.

                 1   Pick up the line in the middle, have the

                    left-hand standing part to the front of your
                    left hand and the right-hand standing part
                    to the back of fhe right hand.

                 2  With your left fingers cateh the line at the
                    back of your right hand while the right
                    fingers catch the line in the front of the left
                    hand.

                 3  Pull your hands apart, still holding the line
                    with your fingers.
                 4  The finished knof.
