Slipped Figure-of-


                                                                                        Eight Knot




                                                            By leaving a bight rather than pulling the
                                                       working end right through when making the

                                                       figure-of-eight knot, a slightly bulkier knot is
                                                formed that can be easily untied or “slipped” by a

                                                                                      tug on the short end.























































                                                               1 Start as the figure-of-eight knot but tuck a
                                                                   bight formed in the working part of the

                                                                   rope. *
