Based on the data analysis shown on table 1.2 above, 75 percent of the respondents answered in

affirmation that the role played by social networking websites such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter,

LinkedIn, Skype and Video Sharing Website like YouTube, Google.com, and Blogging Websites when

used, significantly impacts their learning and school work activities. 15 percent and 10 percent both

answered to lesser extent and non-applicable to the same question respectively.

The question: To what extent does a smart-phone play significant role in the accomplishment of

students’ school work and assignments yielded the following results based on the data on Table 1.3; 85

percent of the respondents answered in affirmation while 10 percent and 5 percent answered to a lesser

extent and non-applicable respectively.

85 respondents out of the 100 sampled tend to favor the question that the cell-phone play
