COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to provide an understanding of the underlying theory of organization change
and intervention; to explore how various change strategies can be applied to problems involving
people in intact systems; and to analyze successful approaches and techniques in organization
development to include materials, techniques, designs, current issues and practices in organization
development. Other topics covered in the course will be to understand the organization as a system,
organization assessment, team building and intergroup work as OD interventions, entry strategies,
internal/external change agent, and third-party consultation.
